It's Green Day today :)

Treat the earth well: it was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children. We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children. ~ Ancient Indian Proverb

Count your blessings everyday for how fortunate you are!!! Stop complaining. Everybody have problems. But stop at what you're doing now, and look around you. Where's the green??? This is a concrete jungle that we're living in.

FAMINE, SUDAN. Starving children looking for ants to eat.

AIR POLLUTION, SPAIN. Burning discarded tyres - a major cause of air pollution. Toxic plume contains many carcinogens.

INDUSTRIAL POLLUTION, NORTHERN THAILAND. Lumpang.

DEFORESTATION, BANGLADESH. Madhupur Forest. Burning forest to extend agricultural land.

SANDSTORM, CHINA. Over-intensive farming and climate change have caused deserts in Asia and Africa to spread.

GULF WAR, KUWAIT. Burning oil fields. The ecological landscape of Kuwait and the Persian Gulf was severely damaged when Iraqi forces set fire to 789 oil wells.

DROUGHT, BRAZIL. Bare feet standing on cracked earth.

FLOODS, MOZAMBIQUE. Chibuto. Man carrying water and food across a flooded area.

All pics taken here.

What have we done to the world
Look what we've done
What about all the peace
That you pledge your only son...
What about flowering fields
Is there a time
What about all the dreams
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the children dead from war
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores
